We want to make your visit to Cocodimama as easy as possible, so we’ve provided a wealth of travel information here to make planning your trip simple and hassle-free.

Location:

Cocodimama is located right on a white sand beach on the Caribbean side of Eleuthera, approximately six miles from the capital of Governor’s Harbor.

Arriving by Air

Getting here is easy.  You can fly directly to Eleuthera from Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, and Atlanta, or fly to Nassau and take a quick flight or ferry ride over. Governors Harbour Airport and North Eleuthera Airport  are the most convenient to Cocodimama.

There are 6 daily scheduled flights from Nassau to Governor’s Harbour on commercial Bahamian Carriers operating 19-48 passenger turbo-prop aircraft. Both Southern Air and Bahamas Air have 3 flights per day departing early morning, mid-day, and late afternoon.

Fast Ferry from Nassau:

The Fast Ferry is a popular mode of transportation for visitors and Bahamians alike. The ferries are a comfortable alternative for travel to Eleuthera and Harbour Island with enclosed air-conditioned seating and snack bar.   Of if you’d like to take a day and explore the main island of Nassau, it’s a quick trip!  Please check Fast Ferry website for schedules as they are subject to change.

Getting to Nassau (NAS) from International Destinations

Most major airlines offer international service with either non-stop or connecting service into Nassau International Airport.

Private Air Travel:

Private planes are also a popular mode of transportation to the island and are accommodated by all three airports.  Governors Harbour (25°17′ 4.94″ N, 76°19′51.64″W), North Eleuthera (25°28′29.5″N, 76°41′0.56″W), Rock Sound (24°53′30.12″N, 76°10′39.86″W)

Many visitors also choose to anchor in front of COCODIMAMA at Alabaster bay and wade in to enjoy a drink on our patio or a meal at our restaurant.

• A US Passport is valid for 10 years when issued to applicants 16 years and older
• A passport for minors (16 and under) is valid for 5 years
