Cocodimama provides overnight accommodations for up to 35 guests (each room with its own private en suite & balcony/deck overlooking the ocean), on-site commercial kitchen, comfortable clubhouse that seats up to 40 (with additional restrooms), beachside deck with more seating, and expansive beachfront leading to bright teal, crystal clear Caribbean waters. 

A tranquil and exclusive escape, time seems to slow a bit here. We only rent to one group at a time, so you’ll have the entire resort to yourselves. Daily housekeeping/cleaning and management staff helps ensure the facilities are always fresh and spotless. It’s also conveniently located close to Governor’s Harbour – the main town on Eleuthera – so you’ll have convenient access to shopping, dining, and popular tourist attractions.

Beach bonfires and BBQs. Gather around a crackling beach bonfire as the sun sets gloriously over the horizon, casting brilliant gold, copper, and coral hues across the azure sky. Roast marshmallows, tell stories, and enjoy a beachside BBQ with your loved ones. Grills are available onsite, or you can order carryout from one of the nearby restaurants. 

Water sports and beach activities. The incredible water is a huge draw for our guests, beckoning you to embark on a thrilling water sports adventure. Our beachfront is wonderful for children and those who aren’t comfortable swimming at depths. The sandbar stretches out for more than 300 yards, meaning you can splash and run and play far out off the coastline – and never be more than shin deep. The water is also clear, so you can see straight to the bottom. Nearby excursion providers are abundant (though it’s typically best to book in advance). There are a cornucopia of opportunities for paddleboarding, jet-skiing, boating, charter boat fishing, charter boat island hopping, deep sea fishing, reef fishing, scuba diving (there MANY shipwrecks off the Eleuthera Coast, particularly near the Devil’s Backbone area), and more. You can even book a boating excursion to swim with pigs and sea turtles! Our boutique beachfront hotel staff can provide recommendations and connect you to excursion providers.

Yoga and wellness sessions. Start the day with rejuvenating yoga sessions on the beach, led by instructors who can cater to all levels of experience. Embrace the tranquility and peace of the gorgeous setting, meditate, practice mindfulness, relax, and find your inner harmony. 

Island exploration. There is much to explore on Eleuthera – including “hidden” coves, invigorating swimming and cliff-jumping spots like Queen’s Bath (aka Hot Tubs) and Sapphire Blue Hole, striking views like those on the Glass Window Bridge (cobalt blue of the Atlantic Ocean on one side and stunning aquamarine of the Caribbean Sea on the other), and thrilling cave tours in popular spots like Preacher’s Cave, Hatchet Bay, and Cathedral Cave. 

Group activities and team-building. Plan group activities and team-building exercises to strengthen bonds and make new memories. Activity possibilities at Cocodimama are endless, but some crowd favorites include: Beach volleyball, beach obstacle courses, sand sculpture contests, beach scavenger hunts, tug-of-war, hula circle relay, beach soccer, towel relay race, sand pictionary – and more! 

Themed dinners and culinary experiences. Hire a chef, cooks, or catering company to ensure you have regular on-site meals prepared right in our full-sized commercial kitchen. Most find it’s better for everyone to hire cooking staff, as they not only have an easier way around a commercial kitchen, but it means everyone will have the chance to fully relax and enjoy the company. We’ll connect you with talented local cooks who curate delightful menus using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients – offering a memorable dining experience for your reunion. 

A trip down memory lane. Set up a dedicated place in the shared clubhouse space to set up photos and mementos from the past, sparking nostalgic conversations and heartwarming stories of remembrance. Set up a slideshow or video montage to share with the group. Reflect on all the memories and celebrate the journeys you’ve shared.
